Hi!
So this is probably a really easy problem to fix but I'm stumped. A couple nights ago I successfully got El Capitan running on my computer. Tonight when I got home, I unplugged the USB and tried to boot. It went into Clover successfully, but when it tried to boot OS X, it would either kernel panic (referencing the kernel_task process) or show the circle-slash symbol, switching between the two each time.
I didn't use the Unibeast method since it kept giving me trouble, but I created a bootable installer using terminal, then ran Multibeast to install Clover as well as other kexts. I created boot entries for the hard disk like it showed in the tutorial I followed. Like I said, Clover works perfectly otherwise. I tried booting into safe mode, and the same thing happened. I tried booting into verbose, but it scrolled too quickly and restarted too soon for me to see the point at which it failed. Here's a picture of the kernel panic. I'm sure it's a simple fix that I'm just overlooking, but I'm still not too well versed with hackintoshing.
My build is an Intel Core i5 2400, ASRock Z68 Pro3 Gen3 motherboard, 8gb Mushkin Blackline DDR3 1333, Seagate 250gb hard disk, Nvidia GTX 560Ti 1gb. More info available if needed. Thank you!!
EDIT: I just noticed in the kernel panic it shows MacPro5,1. However when I boot from the Clover USB and go to system profiler, it shows iMac12,1. Could this have something to do with it? How do I change that? And which system definition should I be using?
