I've been reading around, and it seems like the main trouble comes from the installation of the Windows OS on a system that runs OSX as the primary, but I have a lot of good work on this hackintosh (2 years old now), and I don't want to jeopardize anything... I just want to be treated like a normal gamer!
I am using this build from the tonymacx86 website using multibeast.
I plan on taking the SSD from my old computer (and maybe my 500GB storage drive) and adding it to my current hackintosh, which is running an SSD and a 1TB hard drive. 3 questions:
1) What could go wrong?
2) Will the difference in drivers mess with anything on my system, windows or otherwise?
3) Do I need a separate bootloader, or do BIOSes generally detect 2 bootable drives and give you the option to choose? I have been looking at rEFInd, but do not want to install anything new if I don't need to. Oh, and do I have to make a bootable flash drive if so, or can I install it using some sort of script through the hackintosh? The latter seems like the case, but I'd like confirmation.
Thanks!
