I'm using a bios-only machine (no ego support) and when trying to get a distro to download the El Capitan installer I still am not able to get it to sign into the App Store: it keeps saying that it can't verify my computer. I've tried to setup the smbios as it should be, but it still isn't working. I've heard some small rumors here and there that the chameleon bootloader I'm using ends up causing more trouble here than, for example, clover. Is this true and would I benefit in my efforts from trying to go from a clover bootloader at least in my final build?
