My vanilla El Capitan system is installed onto an external USB3 HDD and normally boots fine when I manually override the boot sequence and select the external HDD. I have clover installed on that HDD and hence I can boot OS X.
But recently I have often been stuck at a bios-like screen when I boot from The HDD. Sometimes I have to reboot multiple times until I get the clover option screen. Does anyone know why? And how to fix this permanently?
