This is a tricky issue. Basically, I have 70Mbps broadband, with 5Mbps upload speed. I achieve these speeds perfectly on my MacBook Pro.
Earlier, it realled effed up after I woke the computer from sleep. Download speeds went down to just 0.83Mbps, while upload speeds remained at 5Mbps. Ping times were literally in the 500ms area, and websites wouldn't load. This resolved after a reboot.
Also, normally when I use my hackintosh, I get only 55-60Mbps. This may seem petty, but my laptop is wireless N, and my desktop is wireless AC, and the router is wireless AC, so I feel like that's a little slow.
I've got a GA-Z97-D3H motherboard, and the wireless card is in the first PCI-E slot, the 1x or whatever it is that is smaller :P
What can I do to get wireless working properly? This card is supposed to work out of the box (and it mostly does!).
EDIT: I'm now trying disabling Wake on Wireless Access in the energy saving settings, as a lot of people say this helps with the sleep issue. I wish I could still get fast enough internet, though.
