Hey, so my hackintosh seems to have shit the bed, and I can't get my El Cap back up and running (even with clover doing fresh dsdt and booting no cache/kext). And my restore option, which I've used successfully before, is toast it seems. So, I have a legit mavericks disk, and a Mac mini running 10.7, and I'd like to download el cap on the mini, make a fresh USB boot drive and do a fresh install to another partition on my hack. But the mini can't run el cap, so the store won't even let me download it. Is there a way to force the download? I'd much prefer that to grabbing some random probably infected torrent, but doing a mavericks install on the hack just to do the el cap download is too much of a pain on my hardware setup. Any ideas?
