I had a running Yosemite install up until December when I unsuccessfully tried to upgrade it. I put windows on it and used it as a windows machine until I just got it back up and running today. While I had windows installed, I tried changing the partition map from GUID to MBR. I still couldn't connect with windows, and now I can't connect with mac either. I set the map back to GUID, but it only shows me 2 untitled partitions and an EFI partition. Is there any way to get those files back?
