Hi there. I presently have a Schiit Modi + an Emotiva Control Freak for tactile/physical volume control. However, I'd much prefer to have a USB DAC that can handle being controlled via OS X's native volume controls. I haven't come across a DAC that can do this, just curious if any of you know of one that may exist.
My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI, and I'm running Yosemite still. As mentioned I have a Schiit Modi (v1) and an Emotiva Control Freak volume knob to handle volume adjustments.
Would love to hear your suggestions. Thanks!
