So I've had my hackintosh running for about 6 months and have always experienced a quirk with my monitor. When I reboot my PC I am able to see the bios and clover boot options but once OSX loads I am not able to see anything (keyboard registers inputs). The fix is to unplug the display port cable from my monitor and plug it back in, after I do that I have a fully functional display until I restart (which is rare anyway). It's something I can live with but I'm just curious as to why this happens.
I am using a Dell UltraSharp U3415W as my main and ONLY display, I'm using a displayport cable and connecting it to my GTX 970, all drivers updated and OSX updated to the latest version (10.11.4).
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
