I've installed a BCM 4331 card using a PCI-e adapter. Bluetooth works, but WIFI doesn't. There's a guide by Toleda out there, that I suspect has the solution, but I don't know how to read them.
I have a Skylake system running 10.11.5 configured as an iMac 17.1.
