I currently am running Yosemite 10.10.5 on my Desktop Hackintosh build, after a previous thread here, it seems like many people agree it may be time I do a clean install of OS X on my machine to get rid of all these minor issues (of course, via the Clover method). Here are my system specs:
Install Method: Clover Method
CPU: Intel Core i5-4490 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Storage: PNY - CS1100 240GB Serial ATA III
Video Card: Saphire Radeon HD 7950
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
Bluetooth Device: Iogear GBU521
Now, the way how I set my system up is I have an SSD where OS X, applications, and all other data exist on this drive, where a seperate Hard Drive is used as a Time Machine. I do not have any other drives at this moment to perform a full backup of applications, so is there a sound way to perform the full clean install of El Capitan, and than restore all my applications, data, and accounts? Is it at all possible to use one of those Time Machine backups to "restore" all that data? Or would I have to figure out a way to backup all of my data for the clean install?
