Hi all,

I've been trying to dual boot with windows 8.1. So far I've installed Mavericks OS on my SSD with no issue. My current setup is GA-Z87N WIFI. 1) SSD (Mavericks OS) 2) 1 TB HDD - 1 partition 300GB for Windows 8.1 - 700 GB partition for all data/files.

So I haven't gotten around to installing Windows yet, but I have been running just Mavericks on my Hack. I have partitioned my 300 GB on my HDD to save for my Windows 8 Install (MSDOS FAT). I was following a guide that you need to click format and then you can advance to install like in this image.. http://imgur.com/WGn4ilr I clicked format and then I couldn't go click on 'Next', I got this error. http://imgur.com/DRAYgnZ

Any idea what I can do to get around this to install? Not sure what may be the issue. Help! Need to get dual boot up and running..

After this, I created the bootable flash drive with WindowsUSB tool on a windows desktop and formatted the flash drive to (NTFS).

After I proceeded with installation setup, and select 'Manual Partitioning'. I then received this in Error:

Im thinking my error is because i have a large .iso file 4.6 and the USB format is not fat32. If i change to fat32 do you think my problem will fix? anyone know how to help me install 8.1 and what are the correct steps to take after installation to dual boot?

TL;DR: Need help dual booting mavericks and windows 8.1. Error when trying to install windows 8.1 due to drive issues? Need help and proper steps to take for dual boot

Thanks!
