I've been using this build for 1+ year. At some point, I couldn't get it to shut down. The monitor goes black, the OS shuts down, but the machine keeps running (fans keep turning) and it doesn't shut down.

I've read a couple of posts where people had the same problem. Here's what I've tried :

  • Unplugging everything that is plugged in USB ports, except for mouse and keyboard.

  • Making sure mouse and keyboard are tightly plugged, pushing firmly.

Shutting works in Windows and Linux, but not in OS X. I've had the same problem when I wasn't triple-booting this machine.

Any help is appreciated!
