Well, this is embarrasing, I had to change my system version from 10.9.3 to 10.6.3 to troubleshoot a program. So I changed the value in /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist

After I rebooted my computer to go to windows (and forgetting to switch back to 10.9.3), I noticed in Chimera that the partition icon for my mac drive, was snow leopard's icon! I tried booting, to be sure nothing was broken, it went to black screen, and rebooted. I tried booting verbose, and it loaded all the drivers, it finished, and it rebooted. These are some other options I've tried:

-x -f GraphicsEnabler=No

none of them seem to work. Is there any way I can modify the file in Windows?

Thanks!
