hi guys I have full knowledge that you can do a H on the Optiplex 745 however the guide that's online is completely confusing and makes no sense to me. All this "kext" and DSDT stuff. I kinda have an idea about what they are however it makes so sense to me at all. Somebody built a custom DSDT for the 745 however the link is dead.
So the questions I have are:
- How do I build a DSDT and what do I need to make it work?
- How do I prepare the USB for installing OS X 10.8.5? All I've done is prepared it with the disk utility. Therefore the drive is in jounaled mode and is partitioned.
Otherwise I need guiding through it, for noobs in particular. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing but I really wanna H my Dell Optiplex!
