Hey guys. I am looking into having a second computer to make my work flow more efficient. Leaving one of my computers as a stable as possible (no updating). I would like to keep my current MacBook Pro as my stable computer for mixing audio. Just trying to get some insight and advice on what I could do.
Current Setup: - MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel Iris 1536 MB - ASUS Intel Core i7 (ill post more info soon)
I guess my main concerns are how I should go about upgrading/hacking whatever one may call it, my ASUS laptop. I would like to keep one portable while the other isn't. Both will be running Pro Tools 10 and Logic Pro X (if my ASUS can be 'hacked') sharing the same files.
