I'm not sure if this is something you guys can help me with, but I'm running out of options. The virtual box community won't help me with this, since they can only officially support OSX guests on OSX hosts.
I need to run Yosemite in virtualbox with a windows host, because I am taking a class where we develop with xcode.
I've tried to follow some guides, and I have it to a point where it starts trying to boot, however it stops at "missing bluetooth controller transport!", and after a minute switches to a screen with "still waiting for root device" with a crossed out circle.
does anyone here have any experience with using virtualbox? would I have more luck if I tried to use a different virtualization software? Would It be better to try and use Mavericks instead?
I'm trying to run this on an MSI laptop with an intel core i7-4710HQ.
