Hi there,

I've been running Yosemite for a while now on my PC, and haven't been having any real problems with it, up till now.

Basically what happens is: 9 out of 10 times, about 1 minute after just logging in (and landed on the desktop), yosemite just freezes and does nothing. Music stops, can't move mouse, literally frozen. When this happens I need to reset and hope it doesn't happen again (which it does 9/10 times).

Is there any way I could fix this without doing a fresh install?

Some info: Just before it started happening, I was trying to share my ethernet connection with a USB device (CDC?). Whenever I tried to enable this, the OS would freeze, and I had to reset. I did this about three times before giving up, but after that, the freezing started happening after boot about a minute in like described earlier.

Here is a console log from boot, to up to the crash: (Lets hope nothing privacy related is to be found in here) http://paste.multicu.be/ucayucogar.vhdl

I have the following specs:

  • Intel I7-4770K

  • GTX780 Reference

  • Crucial Ballistix Tactical DDR3-1600Mhz RAM (2x8GB)

  • 256GB Samsung Pro 840 SSD

  • MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Mobo

I have already tried disconnecting my other drives, so it just has the SSD in which yosemite runs off, but that didn't change the freezing.
