Hello!
I'm able to get Yosemite Zone .dmg on a USB drive 16gb, using TransMac. No problem there. My main problem is just getting it to install. It hangs up 1/4 of the way through everytime.
This is the guide that I'm following. What also concerns me here is this:
NOTE: If you're installing Mac OS X on a computer that already has Windows installed, you may have to enable AHCI for Windows beforehand. Otherwise, Windows won't boot afterwards.
I've tried following the directions carefully here, and I believe it's meant for Windows 7? Can't find the path in regedit that it's talking about. Am I completely overlooking something?
I can build computers and I'm a web developer... but this stuff just goes over my head! Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thank you everyone for your time.
More info: PC recently built using tonymacx86 guide. Currently it has Windows 8.1 on a 128gb SSD. I'd like to install Yosemite on a 500gb SSD. Both drives are internal.
