Hi,

I'm currently trying to improve my hackintosh setup. I'm not at any risk of losing anything here, and as a result have already wiped this thing again a few times to start from scratch.

My system is as follows:

  • Intel Core i5 3570K @ 3.4Ghz

  • 2x 8GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2133Mhz DDR3 RAM

  • Gigabyte GA-Z77X-D3H Rev. 1.1

  • MSI GTX 970 Twin Frozr

  • 2x Dell P2415Q 4K monitors. One via DisplayPort 1.2, the other via HDMI 1.4a (at 1080p... for now)

I'm trying to install with Unibeast and Multibeast (7.2), using Chimera as the bootloader. I can install OSX Yosemite 10.10.2 perfectly fine from my USB. It boots after installation, and I can install Chimera and my kexts fine. It boots fine after that. My wireless all works fine. Then, I install the nVidia graphics drivers (343.02.02f03 - after the security update to Yosemite).

When I reboot, if I enable the nVidia driver via nvda_drv=1, it all goes swell, up until where the log on screen should be. The screens are at the correct resolution (one at 4K, the other at 1080p). I have a cursor in the top left of my left screen. But everything else is just grey.

I am using verbose mode, and can see that the nVidia driver loads. It says NVDAStartup: web and something else that makes it look like it's worked fine.

I've tried GraphicsEnabler=No, and GraphicsEnabler=Yes. Booting after the driver installation with nv_disable=1 works fine still. I've tried PCIRootUID=1 and PCIRootUID=0. I've tried npci=0x3000 and none of them seem to make any difference, in seemingly any combination.

Any ideas? :D
