I have a Netgear A6100 (not AC, but I think it does support ac wireless I guess), and I'm trying to use it with my Yosemite hack. I installed netgear genie, and the drivers via Multibeast (it's a Realtek RTL8111 chipset). It is detected in System Info as 802.11AC WLAN Adapter, and even the vendor ID detects it as Netgear, but it won't show up in the network settings when I try and add a wifi network.
