Hi there, I've been looking into adding an osx boot to my existing machine. My parts are compatible to my knowledge:
MB: MSI Z97 Sli krait CPU: i5 4690k RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600 2 x 8 Video Card: windforce gtx 970 Ssd (with windows 8.1) HDD (almost full of games and probably the wrong format)
I may be getting another SSD and HDD from a friend and was wondering if anything would stop me from putting osx on the ssd as a boot option and using the new HDD as it's storage?
All I want to do is make sure the current installation of windows and my files on the existing HDD are not at risk. I'm not sure how they would be but I'm looking for confirmation, thank you
