I recently upgraded my PC to an Intel platform. Recycled my old computer HDDs to create a hackintosh partition.
My specs are: Mobo: Asus H97M-Plus CPU: Intel Core i5 4690K GPU: Nvidia GTX 660 (Reference model, no extra branding) Planned GPU upgrade: MSI GTX 970 RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600MHz.
I have 4 drives, 2 70GB unused, a 1TB one for documents and games and a 128GB SSD for Windows 8.1
My plan is to install OS X in one of those 70GB HDD and choose which OS to boot.
Any special configuration for my PC, extra steps or a good guide that I should know? I know my way around PCs and Mac but still want to be sure and not screw everything up as this is my first hackintosh. I already have a MacBook so no problem getting OS X.
