Hi all, not sure if this is against the rules. If it is please take down or suggest a more appropriate sub. Essentially what has happened is the hard drive on my macbook mid 2010 is cooked, and I bought a new 500 GB hard drive. I physically have installed it on my machine, and it shows up on disk utility when I start in recovery mode, but I think I need an OS X installer or something on the drive, but I'm not quite sure how to go about this. I have a PC, but no other mac. Any and all help on this is very much appreciated.
