My Hackintosh has been relatively stable for quite some time, but ever since OSX 10.10 I have not had USB 3.0 support. I have read through some articles regarding the issue but I have had some difficulty with the more complex solutions and failed with the ones I have tried.
I am running the following build:
4790K gigabyte g1-gaming edition gtx 970 Asus z97-a (6 USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0) Hyperx Fury 16gb DDR3 1866 Crucial 240gb MX100 Fractal Design R4 (2 USB 3.0, 2 USB 3.0)
I will include the config.plist in the comments. Another issue that I have and am not sure is related is that my computer on boot will sometimes freeze at the BIOS Asus logo. Cannot F2 or anything to get out of it. I can post BiOS settings if that helps.
EDIT: If this subreddit allows it I would also be happy to give $20 Steam or what have you to whomever might teach me how to solve both issues. I want to know how to fix this in the future.
