My TP-Link USB not detectable

Hello all

I finally built my first successful hackintosh on my HP laptop (Envy m6)

I got my friend's USB wifi adapter TP-Link TL-WN725N which he uses on his MacBook Pro without any issues.

I only got Ethernet working now, but I need to know how to fix the USB adapter not being recognized (it doesn't even work since it doesn't show lights on it as it does when I'm on Windows)

Another question. When I set my hackintosh, I didn't connect to the Internet and couldn't put my Apple ID there. Now that I have Ethernet access, can I do something about it?
