  • Install Method: 10.7.2 Combo Update
  • Chipset: HM 65
  • Processor: Intel Core i7 2630QM 2GHz
  • Audio: ALC269, used VoodooHDA 2.7.3 from Multibeast with some modifications
  • LAN: Realtek RTL81xx, used Lnx2Mac kext inside Multibeast
  • Video: OOB with GraphicsEnabled=Yes
  • For iCloud to work, just install Chameleon latest version (iCloud fix), make your smbios MacBookPro8,3 and generate a serial with Champlist. Keyboard needs a tweak to work at Lion's first install, but this isn't the place, since this is an upgrade post. This is just to mention this notebook works 100% with this update. I will post a guide to install Lion soon.

  • LP: 32 and 64bit both works
  • Bootloader: Chimera 1.5.4, MBR, Dual-boot Windows 7, shrank Win7, but did not modify dell utility, nor recovery partitions.
  • Chipset: Intel HM 55
  • Processor: Intel i5 2140m
  • Keyboard/Mouse: VoodooPS2Controller. Had to disable Setup Assistant detection and bluetooth detection
  • Audio: Multibeast AppleHDA Rollback + VoodooHDA
  • LAN: Lnx2Mac's Realtek RTL81xx
  • WIFI: Centrino N 1030 does not work. Using Edimax EW-7811Un with the RTL8192CUs driver from realtek
  • Video: Intel HD 3000 QE/CI works with GraphicsEnabler=Yes
  • Trackpad: VoodooPS2TrackPad, 2-finger scroll works
  • Battery: VoodooBattery
  • Sleep: SleepEnabler

  • WIFI:replaced with original Apple Atheros Card - works

  • Install Method: iBoot + MultiBeast & 10.7.2 Combo Update (I didn't need to do anything after upgrade, everything running smoothly)
  • Bootloader: Chameleon r1627VS
  • Processor: Intel Core2Duo P8700
  • Video: Nvidia 9600M GS works with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and edited AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext (Added my graphics card's ID and no problem with Quartz Exterme and OpenCL)
  • Audio: Success with VoodooHDA 0.2.7.2
  • LAN: Realtek Gigabit Ethernet 2.0.6
  • Wi-Fi: ZyXEL NWD-270 USB Dongle with Ralink RT2870 drivers and RalinkAirPort.app
  • DVD-RW: Works OOB
  • USB: Success with Voodoo PS / 2 Controller
  • Trackpad: Success with Voodoo PS / 2 Trackpad
  • Bluetooth: Works
  • Camera: Works and no problem with FaceTime
  • Card Reader: Works
  • Additional: System definition iMac 12,2 with edited serial numbers (That way you can log in to iCloud, App Store and FaceTime with no problems.)
  • Battery works with AppleACPIPlatform.kext and VoodooBattery.kext downloaded from here
  • Sleep and Wi-Fi (Intel 5100AGN) don't work.

  • Install Method: rBoot LE + xMoved 10.7 then 10.7.2 ComboUpdate.
  • MultiBeast: Easybeast, Chimera, VoodooHDA 0.2.72 & Update Helper
  • Audio: Intel® High Definition Audio
    • VoodooHDA 0.2.72 (volume shortcuts & headphone jack works I haven't test out mic jack). There is high pitch noise during Skype video conversation. No real remedy beside lower volume control.
  • Battery: Needs Voodoo Battery kext don't care to try
  • Bluetooth (USB): Not working
  • DVD-RW: Reads haven't try burning.
  • Ethernet: Doesn't work, doesn't care.
  • Keyboard & TrackPad: VoodooPS2, tapping works.
    • Input device won't respond at startup until 9 minutes later. You can try iATKOS L1 to avoid this but you must stay away from "MultiBeast System Ultilities".
  • Magic Gate: Not working,
  • Motion Eye: Works OOB facetime & skype video and mic works almost flawless.
  • USB Mouse: Scroller is in reverse; down = up, up = down
  • USB Slots: working fine
  • Shut Down/ReBoot: works fine
  • Video: GMAX3100 0x2a42; no QE/CI; 1024x768x32
  • WiFi: Intel® WiFi Link 5100AGN; doesn't works; Purchase the ATH-AR5B93 works out of box but LED switch remains off.
