Hey guys, I recently installed 10.6.8 on my pc with an AMD processor. Everything runs well. Now I have installed Mountain Lion and most of it is already working properly too. When I installed 10.6.8 I splitted my HDD in 3 partition and Installed Snow Leopard along the chimera bootloader. On the first partition there is 10.6.8, on the second one a backup partition and now I installed 10.8.2 on the third partition. I already tried to install a new bootloader on my third partition but when I start my Pc the chimera bootloader is always booting and is not capable of booting mountain lion. I am now building hackintosh a few years and my question may be silly (maybe because I'm too tired) but do I have to install the bootloader for Mountain Lion on my first partition where Snow Leopard is? I would really appreciate an answer. I need another bootloader for booting both versions of OSX and to get rid of the white screen bug with the black cursor (yes, I have a 6850 and yes I already deleted the kext and istalled some new ones from osx86 :D )
TL;DR: Do I have to install the bootloader on the first partition even when the bootloader is "for the OSX version on the third partition" or do I screw up my hackintosh?
PS: As always I will report back if I found the solution by myself
