I can't figure out what I'm doing, so I can't figure out what settings to look at to fix this.

I have an Aspire S3, running Mavericks 10.9. Regularly (2-3 times a day, easily), I will be doing something and randomly the Print dialogue box will open.

  • This seems to be triggered by something I do on the track pad, but I can't figure out what. A gesture? No idea.

  • The touchpad driver is Elan Touchpad (v2 I think)

  • This is definitely not related to me typing anything on the keyboard. It happens when my hands are no where near the keyboard.

  • It happens the most when I'm web browsing, but I think that's because most of my time is spent on the web. I've had it happen also when editing a word document, and when editing a different kind of file (Geometer's Sketchpad, if it matters, but I doubt most will have heard of that).

  • I can always cancel the print, so it's not going farther than opening the dialogue box

Any ideas? I'd like to be able to edit my gestures or shortcuts or what have you to get it to stop, but I can't track down exactly what I'm doing to cause this.

Thanks in advance!
