(I apologize in advance if I did something wrong in the way I posted this, I'll amend it immediately if needed)
Hi, I know my computer is hackintosh compatible as i've had setups before but it's been awhile so now i'm making a new one.. I'm trying to use iATKOS with vmware (Vmware 8) and iATKOS Lion (10.8.3 I believe)
I get to the part where you are supposed to format your vmware hard drive and then partition it (According to this guide: http://www.macbreaker.com/2013/01/iatkos-ml2-mountain-lion-virtualbox.html )
(I know it's virtual box tut but I figured it'd work just as well with VMware and I always got stuck on the main iATKOS page with virtualbox it wouldn't go past where the image of the CD-R is and you hit a key or it just automatically moves on to start installing and the top left would say "Can't find" then on a new line "press any key to continue"
so I moved to VMware and this is where I am now.
(Might I add iATKOS is being loaded locally as an ISO i've tried it using a virtual drive with poweriso and just loading the ISO and or DMG (I converted it and have tried both for testing sake) among other things but currently on vmware i'm loading the ISO directly from vmware)
so on the screen here: http://i.imgur.com/HJIlwsN.png it just sits "unmounting disk" for hours if I let it.. Never moving on.
I haven't burned the iATKOS image because I don't have CDs available and figured it'd work fine locally
