So, i spent the last week trying to get a successful mavericks installation on a new Vaio E series laptop.

Here is a link to the laptops exact specs/model: http://www.sony.co.nz/product/sve17135cg

So, for starters, i have tried 2 methods of installation:

  1. building my own boot USB using tonymacx86 guides: http://www.tonymacx86.com/374-unibeast-install-os-x-mavericks-any-supported-intel-based-pc.html (unibeast based?)

  2. Downloading the pirate bay mavericks usb image, and installing it through that (clover based?).

So, both methods works well, and installs well. So its the post installation that i have issues with. Getting the drivers active etc. Mainly Graphics.

With Multibeast as the bootloader, i can get almost everything working besides graphics (and wifi, but i dont care about wifi). I have a AMD 7650M, and according to people at tonymacx86, i have a dedicated card on my laptop, which means i need to find a way to install the dedicated card somehow, and for the life of me, i cant find a guide or any helpful instructions. My progress till this is documented here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/mavericks-laptop-support/113270-graphics-enabling-help-needed-amd-7650m-hd4000.html

At osx86.net i found the following: http://www.osx86.net/files/file/3569-ati-7650m-id-1002-6841/ The device ID matched my graphics card, but attempting to install clover as a bootloder became quite challenging. For starters, every time i install clover as a boot loader, i cant even boot up to OSX (some bluetooth controller error shows up on the verbose mode, and it pretty much gets stuck on the osx loading screen before login screen, i can provide exact error if anyone wants to know?). As you could tell, copying the 7650 files from the above link after clover installation results in the same error and same getting stuck-ness...

So can someone shead some light on this? Is there a way for me to enable my graphics using multibeast path, since clover is being difficult? Any help would be very appreciated. I dont necessoraly need a 7650M graphics, im happy with a HD4000 or something (but i dont think my laptop has this?), so long as i can use the mac for every day things (the 7mb vram is just too laggy for even safari). Can i tempt anyone to help me, with some reddit gold :)

Thanks in advance.

tl;dr: cant get graphics to work on my hackintosh Sony Vaio E series.
