I just updated my old myHack install of 10.8 to 10.9 today (got around to doing it because of a recent power outage).
It was very easy. All my files are still there. I'm one of those people who use Multibeast afterwords... I applied the DSDT file again, and everything is fine!
I also had a custom kext to get my ethernet working. I did not need to re-apply it. The installer kept it and I'm still in business.
I always had trouble using Unibeast, but Multibeast is still helpful, nevertheless.
