So, with the upgrade to Mavericks I decided it was time to start a new. I created my USB drive with Mavericks using Unibeast on my mac laptop (for some reason, my hack kept freezing when I tried to do that). I booted into the installer and proceeded to follow this: How to Setup a Fusion Drive for making a fusion drive that worked. After creating my fusion drive, I installed successfully, and used my Unibeast drive to boot. At this point, I had to boot with UseKernelCache=Yes or else my rig wouldn't boot. It got into Mavericks, set everything up, and then ran Multibeast. Protip: If you take a picture of the settings from multi beast when you know what works, you can refer to it in the future. I used that trick to help me find all of my setting again, which worked well. Also, you can now save multi beast settings apparently, so I would recommend doing that.
My next issue was I couldn't log into iCloud, App Store, etc. So I went ahead, and used multi beast to install my ethernet kext (I had a wifi card that is native in case ethernet doesn't work, which it usually doesn't). For how to make the wifi card see this link. After running the update, I restarted. Still couldn't get iCloud to connect. I had had this issue before on ML, so I searched for the solution again. I found that deleting all the options from System Preferences, then going and deleting the NetworkPreferences.plist (I believe it is in /Library/Preferences/SystemConfigurations).
After that, I restarted. It was at this point that I started to get boot issues. Why? Because my SSDT (the file needed for getting turbo boost, or over clocked CPUS to boot) was not the right one. The one that comes with multi beast is for a system that goes to 4.3 GHz. Mine goes to 4.5 GHz. So, I found that booting with cpus=1* allowed me to get into my system and look into it. I found a thread on tonymacx86 that had an edited 4.5 GHz SSDT for core i5 and i7 processors. I downloaded it. Note: ** When using a fusion drive, you can't update the /Extra folder like normal. You have to remount your two hidden partitions as well, and update their extra folders too. Refer back to the guide on making a bootable fusion drive for the exact commands. After I properly placed the SSDT in my boot partitions, as well as my main just in case, I rebooted. Low and behold I had no issue booting this time around.
Currently, I have a fully working rig as far as I know. I will have to see if the 460 that I have (it acts as a PhysX card in windows) gives me any freezing issues. I currently don't have any monitors hooked up to it just in case, but still.
The only issue I know I still have is that waking from sleep disconnects all my USB ports, and although I am using a tonymac DSDT, it is still happening. So yeh, I wish that would be fixed because I want to use sleep.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have been around the scene for a few years now, and this is my fourth OS upgrade on a mackintosh.
