My laptop's screen is broken (I have gotten Mountain Lion running on it perfectly before, I'm a lucky girl) and so I use an external monitor. It works perfectly, and I prefer desktops now anyways. I gave the hard drive I had Mountain Lion on to my brother for his laptop because I wasn't using it anymore, but now I'd like to go back to OS X. My dilemma is that when booting, I can't see anything. Not the BIOS, boot menu, installer (if I get that far) is all just a blank screen on the laptop, not even showing on the external monitor. Anyway I can get everything to show on an external monitor?
