I'm building a mac for my sister, and the biggest requirement I'm concerned about is that she will be using it for FCPX.
Below is my current proposal (more or less the mini deluxe build from tony86), which is already stretching her budget. I'm most concerned about finding a gfx card that will work with FCPX, but also finding the right balance between CPU/GPU/Price.
I also thought I would spare her the hassle of a big box by going the mini route, but if there's significant savings to be had by going with a normal case, she might be up for that.
Any tips?
