I used a UniBeast clean install of 10.9 and ran the HP probook 6.1 tool to get dsdt and other system files set up. Since the support for my model isn't directly stated by the utility, I had to choose what was close. (4x60) and I believe its spoofing my gpu to look like a AMD/ATi Radeon 6470M.
I believe the laptop runs a Firepro 3900m, but QE and hardware accel. isn't working. Could it be that the firepro is not added in the gpu kext? or am I missing something here?
One of the options in the HP tool was for Higher resolution displays (> 1366x768) and lower res (1366x768). I ran both on 2 different installs but didnt see any changes (display is normally 1440x900).
I added the resolution to my bootloaders plist and the resolution changed to something wider and shorter but I cant remember from what to what.
