I just built a computer with the following parts:
*MOBO - Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP *CPU - i5-4670k *GPU - Intel integrated (HD4600) *HD - WD 1TB Sata3 64mb cache *RAM - G.Skill Ares 16gb (2x8gb) 1866
I've installed OSX on a few PCs before (dell 1525, Asus K53e) and I ran into a problem with this one. I've searched for the problem everywhere and none of the proposed 'solutions' have worked.
When I boot into my USB installer for mavericks, everything works properly and I can install fine. Upon reboot I get stuck at [IOBluetoothHCIController][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!
To me, this indicates a graphics problem. I can boot in safe mode fine, and the graphics shows a 64mb shared (generic) card. My BIOS has the appropriate settings.
I've tried the following boot flags: *GraphicsEnabler=Yes *GraphicsEnabler=No *IGPEnabler=Yes *npci=0x2000 *pcirootuid=1(and 0)
I've also tried deleting all nvidia and geforce kexts, to no avail.
Any other solutions? I've tried making the USB myself and using the myHack method.
Thanks!
