So I have a 128 SSD and a 120 mechanical HDD fused and everything is working dandy. However, I was wondering if I could do the following, as in if it's even possible:
128 SSD GB Fused with a 100 GB partition of a 3 TB mechanical HDD.
The thing is, I have a 3TB on my dad's Hack that already has 2 partitions. 1: OS partition 100GB and 2: DATA partition 2.9TB filled with 500GB already. Would it be possible and/or recommended to reformat and erase the OS partition, buy a 128 SSD and only fuse those two partition to install Mavricks on it without losing any data on the DATA partition?
Thanks in advance. Links to further information would be greatly appreciated.
