This laptop should be compatible with Mavericks, but I've been running into the apple logo system reboot issue. I've checked and rechecked the bios settings (which are extremely limited) and have tried every boot flag known to man. In -v mode it will reboot just after:
Starting Darwin x86_64
Boot Args: boot-uuld-AS3AB490-3E88-Be14-2A2DCB462A48 re-*uuld -v -x IGPEnabler=Yes dart=0
I've read on tonymacx86 that using a patched mach_kernel will help or that some folks need to flash their bios. I've never done a bios flash and am unsure (even after looking around) of how to integrate the patched kernel into unibeast.
