Probably out of my depth here and maybe this is a stupid question. I have Mavericks running well enough in VB, but I keep trying to figure out the drivers to use for audio and maybe hopefully even get better Graphics support.
I was thinking, that if there was a DSDT then all would be good to go. Maybe I am misunderstanding the purpose of a DSDT? In my mind it's sort of a grouping settings, drivers and kernel modifications for a given hardware setup.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, this came about because I got OSX 10.8 going really well in VB using iAtkos ML2. I am not sure what kexts etc it installed. Having taken a different route to Mavericks, I was trying to figure out all that iAtkos did. This is where I was thinking that a DSDT would come in handy. As it is, I am currently booting pretty good with EFI, but I have no sound device and VRAM is saying 3 MB...? I get that it's foolish to think that 1 a Hackintosh will ever be perfect and even less so in a VM, but still, it was running pretty sweet before. It could also be a VB 4.3 thing.
