My parts are on the way (GigaByte Z87 UD3, i7k, 8gb corsair). I am hoping for a smooth install for my first time. I am aware of the guide to install mavericks and my motherboard should be compatible, but there are a few questions that are left unclear for me after i install off USB. My motherboard is DSDT free so I know to select that. I know what my audio, ethernet codecs to select from tonyx website.
I am unsure of which chimera or how I should know which one to use? what to tick in order to get intel 4600's onboard graphics to work? is it easy to simply try loading different kexts to see which solves your problem?
