Anyone have success with the Highpoint RocketRAID 3620?

I just realized that Mac OS X doesn't have software RAID 5, which I had been planning to use. That means I need to use a hardware RAID card. The 3620 seems like a good choice, but I don't see any references to this card anywhere in a hackintosh, and the tonymacx86.com buyer's guide doesn't mention it.

If you have, can you boot the OS from a disk attached to it?

If not, have you had success with similar Highpoint RocketRAID cards?
