Hi all, I am at my wits end with trying to work out how to enable QE/CI on my hackintosh.
Everything works perfectly including the resolution on my HDMI Monitor and the graphics are indeed recognised within "About This Mac" as "Intel HD Graphics 4600 1024MB". Despite this however there is no QE/CI - chess/safari flicker horribly and Final Cut Pro refuses to install as acceleration is not enabled.
I've tried all of the Chimera IGPlatformID values and only the Chimera HD4600 default "0D220003" allows me to boot (albeit still without QE/CI) - the other values all lead to errors when the spinny mac wheel of doom appears.
Not to be deterred I used the Chameleon bootloader instead and edited the IntelAzulFB to "10" - again none of the other values in the range worked and the spinny wheel duly appeared.
I can't understand what I'm doing wrong and have spent probably 3 or 4 solid days now trying to work it out.
My mobo is the gigabyte h87n-wifi and I have 16gb of Ram and I'm booting straight from one partion SSD. Can anyone out there help at all? Thanks in advance for any guidance.
