Howdy. I've enjoyed my Hackintosh very much since I built it last summer. But, for the second time since then my power supply has just went kaputs. I tend to leave my computer on 24/7 and have a bunch of dongles plugged in and my best guess is that I should cut those habits out.

I'm curious to see if there are any well known correlations between the software usage and the wellbeing of the power supply. Because if there aren't, maybe my model just sucks: Corsair Builder Series CX600.

In case you're wondering here's the rest of the build (there are also three HD's plugged in at all times):

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H

Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX660

RAM: Kingston Hyper 8GB DDR3 8GB (2×4 GB) {plugged into blue white slots}
