I have been desperately trying to get WiFi working again on my Hackintosh after the 10.9.2 update broke all wireless hardware in my build. So, I bought an Asus N13 WiFi USB stick, since I was told that it should work out of the box with OS X. However, no matter which USB port I plug it into on my machine, the stick receives no power (The blue LED does not light up), and OS X doesn't recognize it. The stick itself works fine on boot-up and in Windows/Linux, but OS X doesn't even power it up.

Is there any solution to this, or is there a better stick I could get that's more of a sure bet? In addition, my TL-WDN4800 was the card that was killed by 10.9.2; is there a more reliable card for Mavericks out there?
