Hey folks - So I'm at the point where I'm adding GPU(s) to my system... And I have to admit I'm a little lost. I have narrowed it down to NVIDIA for CUDA- for the sake of ease I've also setled on 760 or 770s. My main question here is about the speed vs memory size: are two 2GB cards running at 8x better than a 4GB running at 16x? In my brain, more CUDA cores the better, but is halving the memory per card and cutting down on access speed worth it? Basically I can afford one card now - I can stretch a little and end up with a single 4GB 770, or get a good 2GB 760 and add another in a month or so. I guess I don't fully understand how much of a difference I will see with using 2 lanes vs 1 lane.

I dont do any gaming - this is a video/photo workstation. All the benchmarks I see for these cards rely so much on frame rates for gaming, its hard for me to understand how it translates. For Resolve, they recommend 2 cards (1 for the GUI and one for the processing)- so eventually I will end up with 2 cards. But for the first step, what would you all do? Anyone have any experience with resolve and a single 4GB GPU? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

build specs: 3770k, Z77-UD5H, SSD, 16g(increasing when I buy card), ect.
