I have a quick question regarding installing Mavericks with multiple HDDs along with a GPU and integrated graphics.
I once tried to install Mountain Lion before, but had problems because of my GTX 780 and multiple HDDs. I asked before on this subreddit and also did some research and found out that the tonymacx86 version had trouble installing OSX because it had trouble reading multiple GPUs and HDDs (I believe it counts integrated graphics on the CPU as one graphics card). I tried removing the 780 and HDDs (except for the one I wanted to install 10.8 on). I ended up giving up because of time restraints at the time and didn't really have time to fiddle around with it.
I was wondering, because I have the time know and no constraints, is this still a problem? Or do you need to disconnect the GPU and irrelevant HDDs when installing 10.9.
My comp specs are:
i7- 3770k ASUS P8Z77-V PRO (LGA1155) NVIDIA GTX 780 16GB 1600mhz RAM x1 2TB HDD (Win 8.1 installed on this one) x2 1TB HDD (Want to install OSX on one of these)
Thanks for the help, any problems with my post, let me know and I will change them.
