I've always been interested in running Mac on a windows PC. Unortunatly, I haven't actually had any success with running it. On my old laptop, I didn't have sound or wifi no matter what I tried, and on my current desktop, my only try so far has resulted in a kernal panic and a broken bootloader, eventually leading to a fresh windows install.
I want to try again, this time on a separate hard drive, with my windows drive completly disconnected (mainly because I only have 1 drive slot)
My specs are:
Intel Pentium G640 - Dual core, 2.8 ghz (It's based on the same architecture as the second gen i5.)
6 gb RAM
Intel HD 3000
Unsure about the mother board.
It is a stock HP Pavilion Slimline s5-1224, if you need extra info.
My questions are:
Is this build even compatible? I heard it should be fine, since it's intel and relatively new.
What method should I use for installing? Stock image then multibeast, or one of the preprepared images?
If a preprepared image, which one would you recommend? I would like to have OS 10.9 on there, but 10.8 or even 10.7 are ok.
Are there any precautions other than a separate hard drive I should be taking?
Is there anything you would recommend I do to get a stable install?
