- I get an incompatibility warning on PCPartPicker about requiring 1 more PCI-e slot. The tonymacx86 site also mentions:
Please note that the motherboard's Intel mini-PCIe card includes both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth but only the bluetooth features are available under OS X. If you don't use the PCIe slot, we recommend the TP-Link PCIe card below for native Wi-Fi support. Also, there are a few native wifi-only Atheros mini-PCIe replacement card suggestions if you don't need bluetooth.
I use a wireless logitech mouse, so I need bluetooth. I also need wi-fi since my PC will be far from the comcast box. What to do??
If I use CCC to transfer my current Mac's contents to the Hackintosh, and I plug in my current external HDD used for Time Machine, will it continue to work?
My friend recommended the CPU cooler. Is it necessary? How do I apply it?
I plan to use the 120GB for Windows, for gaming (i.e. dual boot). What's the easiest way to install windows as of today? Will I need a CD/DVD drive, or can I install Win8 via a USB thumb drive? (I hope to avoid having to have a CD/DVD drive)
Any flaws, things I should fix with this build in general? (e.g. is that RAM right?)
Any good step-by-step videos specific to building a Bitfenix Prodigy? Worried I might cram stuff in or do things in the wrong order.
Thanks in advance!
