I have two different systems that i'm trying to get maverick running on but both of them will not boot because of USB issues. I am by no means a total newb to the osx86 scene, but I can't figure this shit out. In both scenarios im using chameleon with a AMD kernel, fakesmc, nullcpu and Maverick restored to a 8gb flashdrive using transmac on windows.
The first system is a T902 laptop. i5 3320M, 4Gb ram, 4000HD, QM77 Express Chipset. seem other people have been able to get it to work with many issues (non relating to usb). ive tried rolling back iousbfamily and the xhci plugin and a shit ton of boot commands and tinkering with bios settings. Anyways, the error it gives me: "The IOUSBFamily was not able to enumerate a device" etc etc. http://i.imgur.com/d8Pixum.jpg also, for some reason the vanilla kernel wont work because the ACPI kext wont load, so ive been using the AMD kernel.
The second system is a custom rig: phenom II x6 1055t, gigabyte GPA890-UD3H, 8gb ram, ati 5850. I've had osx running on this before, so i didnt expect any issues, but sure enough..... it also got stuck at some usb issue. "AppleUSBOHCI::CheckSleepCapability - controller will be unloaded across sleep" I think i had this issue with Snow Leopard (what this rig previously ran just fine), but it didn't halt the boot up process.
